The Grandfather Clock deserves a mention too. It is home to all the ghosts, and has a magic all of its own. The case is made of wood, while the works are of brass and it has a painted face which has pictures on it. There are five pictures, one of which is the moon and stars, which revolves at the top of the clock. The ghosts can go into the pictures and have adventures there - and if you click on the "adventures" box, you will see what sort of things can happen in the pictures. There are villains in the pictures too - as John discovers when he joins the ghosts as they walk into the pictures.
